“Progress isn’t linear”

You’ve probably heard it, right Reader? Well… Seems like I needed a reminder and here it is, to remind you too that all you’re doing right now is more than enough.

(You should probably also write that down somewhere.)

My point? I believe in you and I know growing your business can feel scary, and not gonna lie sometimes kinda lonely. So I just wanted to spread a little cheer and encouragement your way. đź’ś

Ain’t it rad how we all have a different definitions of success? (yes, I say rad, I'm old, sorry not sorry). Took me too long to realize. The comparison monster is relentless at times.

But then it seems that life knows what you need, and at the most random moments, you get that little extra push.

My push came in the form of messages from past clients sharing how the work we did together (one was a brand + web design, the other a Showit shop) helped them break their goals beyond expectations.

When I heard “my shop grew from a handful of products to over 200. I can pay my mortgage with that revenue alone every month”...instant teary eyes.

And as I cried over my keyboard, I also got a sweet DM: “Crushed my 100K goal by over 30K and it’s not even the end of the year yet and it’s all because of the website you built me”.

I was a puddle. A puddle!

I’m a bit emotional, but it was definitely the push I didn’t know I needed to remind myself that progress isn’t linear. That what I do matters.

I think we really do all need to be reminded, it fuels our days to keep moving forward (or sideways, whichever way your progress looks like today).

Let me celebrate YOUR success: tell me something that makes you proud in your journey. ✨

Cheers to your success,

Ingrid

There's a little voice going "okay, but what if I do this wrong." That's basically every founder I talk to who's thinking about hiring a pro for their brand and website for the very first time in a...

And while they wait for it, the checking starts. Refresh the dashboard, check the open rate, read into every tiny thing that could be a "sign" either way.... I did this for YEARS, checking sales notifications every 20 minutes during a live...

(and it shows up before we ever touch a logo or a page design!!) I worked with a client a while back who came in knowing her pricing needed to go up. She had the receipts...
